Today, follow these instructions to remove and replace the tailgate panel of the Volkswagen Golf, allowing you to subsequently remove the boot lock. First, open the tailgate and start unscrewing the fixing screws located inside the grab handles; then, pry at the sides to detach and completely remove the tailgate panel, as shown in the video.

At this point, you can remove and replace the boot closure, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!
