Replacing the Central Air Vents on a Volkswagen Golf 7

Push the top of the centre tunnel forward. Insert your fingers into the gaps behind the air vent cover and pull towards you (towards the rear seats) to disengage the cover. Done! It's very simple, isn't it? There is nothing else holding the vents in place. The fact that they are only clipped in means that you won't need any tools to refit the new cover; just insert it in place and clip it securely into the fittings as you found the original vents. As you can see, this is a task that anyone can do.
