How to Replace a Car Key Lock?

How do you replace a car key lock? First, open the vehicle's door where the lock to be replaced is located. Remove the rubber sleeve from the door and detach the plastic cover protecting the holes where the fastening screws are anchored. Unscrew the fastening screw corresponding to the lock to be replaced and from the outside, lever with a screwdriver or plastic support to extract the tumbler; do the same with the handle. Unscrew the anchoring supports of the outer door panel and slide it off, exposing the entire lock mechanism. Remove the entire block to be replaced and position the new lock, disconnecting and reconnecting the appropriate wiring for the central locking. Now reposition the outer door panel, the handle, the tumbler, and all the fastening screws, proceeding in reverse order to the disassembly steps.
