How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Passat, press and hold the button marked "0.0" located at the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding it down, turn the key to switch on the instrument cluster: a message will appear on the menu asking if you want to confirm the Service reset. To confirm, press the button again at the centre of the instrument cluster. Once the reset is complete, you can check that it has been successful by turning the instrument cluster off and on again.
