After a few years of use, the battery in the remote for the Volkswagen Golf 7 will run out and will need replacing. This is a very easy and quick operation, as shown in the attached tutorial. To replace the battery, you will need a small flat-head screwdriver and, of course, a replacement battery, model CR2025 or DL2025. Start by extending the emergency key and insert the screwdriver into the gap created, as shown in the video. Leverage it to lift the small rear cover until it opens. At this point, remove and insert the battery, ensuring the correct polarity.
