To replace the rear view mirror of the Volkswagen Golf, rotate the mirror to disengage it from its mount on the windscreen. Once the mirror is removed, you can also pull out the mount by rotating it to release its fixing pins from the windscreen. At this point, simply install the new mount by fitting it onto the designated pin on the windscreen; then, fit the mirror into the mount and adjust it according to your driving needs.
