How to Change the Key Battery on a Volkswagen Golf

If you are experiencing issues with your car key, do not rush to buy a new one, as the solution may be much simpler and more economical. In fact, the battery inside may simply be dead. To replace it, first remove the rear cover. Use a small flat screwdriver to gently pry it outward. Once the rear cover is removed, you will find the used button battery just underneath. Remove it and replace it with a new one. Finally, simply reposition the cover you removed earlier.
