How to Change the Key Battery of a Volkswagen Golf 8

To replace the battery in the remote key of a Volkswagen Golf 8, first extract the metal key from the remote. Press the button on the side of the casing to unlock the key and pull it out. Next, insert the tip of the key into the empty slot and lever it open to access the rear casing. Use the flat end of a small screwdriver to remove the old battery, then replace it with the correct model.
