Due to excessive wear, it may happen that the buttons on your Volkswagen Golf Mk 7 key stop working suddenly. If this has happened to you, do not worry as you do not need to replace the entire key, just the buttons. Here’s how to do it. Get a small pair of pliers or simply a kitchen fork and insert the tip underneath the buttons (at the bottom). Gently push upwards and remove the entire button panel. Once done, apply the new button panel that is perfectly compatible with the key, and you’re all set.
