In this video tutorial, you will see the main steps to remove and replace the water pump and timing belt of the Volkswagen Polo TDI. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the front right wheel, also taking off the wheel arch liner; then, undo the bolts of the crankshaft pulley and disconnect the auxiliary belt, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the timing cover for the belt replacement; disconnect the coolant hose and undo the bolts of the water pump to remove it and replace it with a new one.
