Replacing the Front Headlamp Bulb on a Volkswagen Polo

If you notice that a front headlamp bulb is blown, you can proceed with a DIY replacement by following the instructions in the tutorial video and this description. The first step is to open the bonnet, locate the headlamp with the blown bulb, remove the screws on top of the headlamp unit, and pull it towards you to detach it. For example, if you need to replace the dipped beam bulb, remove the rear protective cover, disconnect the connector, and detach the bulb holder, which you will then replace with the new bulb. Finally, reassemble everything.
