How to Reset the Service Light on Volkswagen Sharan

Model: Volkswagen Sharan 7N, MK 2 - Years 2010-2023

In this video tutorial, you will see how to reset the maintenance light on a Volkswagen Sharan. First, perform maintenance on the vehicle, such as changing the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY service, get inside the car, close all the doors, engage the handbrake, insert the key, and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. The display will show the message SERVICE NOW. Now, turn off the ignition and press and hold the button located under the speedometer while simultaneously turning on the ignition. Once all the lights illuminate and the display shows the message SERVICE NOW, turn the button under the speedometer to the left until the message CHECK BRAKE PADS appears on the display. Now, turn off and turn on the ignition again to verify the reset was successful.
