Front Brake Disc and Pad Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010

Lift and position the vehicle on suitable axle stands, apply a wedge to the rear wheel for safety, and remove the front wheels; disconnect the brake wear sensor connector and proceed to remove the caliper; extract the worn pads and detach the brake caliper bracket; then unscrew the disc fixing bolt from the hub and remove it from its seat; before installing the new disc, clean the hub seat with a wire brush, apply grease, clean the new disc of protective oil residue, and secure it to the hub with the respective fixing bolt; reattach the caliper bracket, insert the new pads, retract the piston using the appropriate tool, and reposition the caliper. Repeat the procedure on the other wheel and pay attention during the first braking.
