Today, you will see how to remove the climate control buttons and their surround on the Volkswagen Passat B7 in simple steps. First, get in the vehicle and start removing the surround by gently unclipping it from the sides; then disconnect the electrical connector at the back.

Next, use a Torx screwdriver to unscrew the screws of the climate control buttons; disconnect the electrical cables at the back to remove all the controls, as shown in the video. For reassembly of the panel, simply apply the reverse procedure!

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake.
