How to Reset the Service Indicator on a Volkswagen Up

To reset the service indicator on a Volkswagen Up, first switch off the ignition. Once the ignition is off, press and hold the od/set button for 10 seconds, then turn the ignition back on. When the ignition is on, release the od/set button and wait for 20 seconds. After that, press and hold the od/set button for a few seconds to perform the service reset. Now start the engine to ensure the reset has been successful. The procedure is very simple and will take approximately 2 minutes to complete.
