How to Remove the Spare Tire from a Volkswagen Routan Mk1

This guide shows how to remove the spare tire from a Volkswagen Routan Mk1. The first step is to take the tire removal kit, which also contains the jack, and assemble the tire removal lever. This kit is located in the trunk, in the left compartment. Insert the lever into the designated hole, located inside the cabin, at the base of the center console, and unscrew the wheel winch. When the tire is completely on the ground, remove the fastening pin from the center of the wheel rim and replace the tire. Reassembly is done by reversing the steps.
