The gear knob gaiter of a car is an element that wears out easily as the lever is constantly in motion. You can change the cover by following this guide, without necessarily needing the help of a mechanic. The first step is to purchase a new gaiter, taking all the details from the vehicle registration document. Using a Torx screwdriver, proceed to remove the old gaiter and unscrew the four screws that secure the gear gaiter to the base. Leverage the base to detach it and pull the gaiter upwards, passing it over the gear knob. Once the old gaiter is completely removed, you can proceed to install the new one.
