To open the fuel flap on the Volkswagen Golf 6, you do not need to press any button inside the cabin; simply apply a light pressure downwards on the left side of the flap. This will unlock the mechanism, allowing you to fully open the flap for refuelling.

Once refuelling is complete, close the flap by applying light pressure on the left side again.
