How to Remove the Door Panel on a Volkswagen Multivan T5 Mk1

This guide shows how to remove the door panel on a Volkswagen T5 Multivan Mk1. The first step is to remove the cover of the door handle using a plastic trim tool. Using a cross-head screwdriver, remove the two screws securing the handle and detach the piece. With a Torx T25 spanner, unscrew the four screws securing the panel, located on the lower edge of the panel and in the middle section. Use the plastic trim tool to detach the panel from the frame, taking care with the connections behind the panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors and the lock actuator cable, then remove the piece.
