Operation: How to fold the mirrors on Volkswagen T-Roc

To close the mirrors in the Volkswagen T-Roc, we turn off the engine of the car and get out of it if we were inside the car, otherwise the operation can start outside and with the key in hand; we hold down the key on the remote control for locking the car to fold the exterior mirrors and only in this case do the exterior mirrors fold; to unfold the mirrors, press the button on the remote to open the car and the mirrors unfold; otherwise, if we press the remote control button once to lock the car, the mirrors do not fold. By means of a coding on the control unit, it is possible to set that the mirrors are only opened when the car is switched on and not only when it is opened.

Replace the steering angle sensor on the Volkswagen Golf 5

When the steering angle sensor malfunction warning light comes on, it may need to be replaced as follows: first remove the steering wheel and the lower steering wheel guard by removing the three fixing screws. The steering sensor is located just below the steering column. To release it you need to have a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole on the front, push the screwdriver all the way down until the clips at the bottom are released. Next, pull down on the back of the card containing the sensor and disengage it from the steering column. At that point take the new card and reposition it, after which proceed backwards to reassemble the various components.
