If the service light on the mini display of the instrument cluster of your Volkswagen Golf fifth series (2003-2008) remains lit even after performing the regular service, do not worry because you can easily reset it using the following manual procedure. First, enter the cabin and insert the key. Locate the "0.0" button situated in the lower right area of the cluster and hold it down. At the same time, turn on the ignition. Immediately after, release the "0.0" button and hold down "Min" until the reset is complete. Finally, switch off the ignition.
