To replace the door panel on a Volkswagen Golf, use a tool like a screwdriver to pry off the curved trim located in the centre of the panel. Once this trim is removed, loosen the screws located underneath it; next, loosen the screw positioned at the bottom centre of the panel. Now the entire panel can be completely detached by disconnecting the various connectors underneath; this will allow you to remount the panel, securing it with screws and covering them with the trim.
