How to remove the button panel on the left door of a Volkswagen Golf? Let's disconnect the battery terminals in the engine compartment. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the tightening screws located under the door panel push-button panel (if present). Once you have unscrewed all the fastening screws of the push button panel, pry it up and extract it out of the door panel. Finally we disconnect the power cables with a screwdriver, remove the push button panel from the door panel. We replace the push-button panel and reassemble everything by proceeding backwards.
