Before you can start, you need to open the door of your Volkswagen Golf. Begin by disengaging and removing the door panel inserts with a thin but sturdy tool and prying them out. Next, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the door panel. By doing this, you will have freed the door panel. Proceed to disengage and remove the door panel from its housing, and finally, disconnect the electrical connector and the handle cable. Once done, you will have successfully completed the removal.
