How to Replace the Key Battery on a Volkswagen Passat

To correctly replace the battery inside your 2018 Volkswagen Passat key, it takes just under two minutes. Follow these instructions. First, press the small button located at the bottom of the cover to fully extract the physical key. Once done, use the same key to open the cover and locate the button cell battery. Remove it and replace it with a new compatible one. Finally, reassemble the cover and reinsert the emergency key.
