In this video, we see how to replace the battery of a Volkswagen Passat B8 SW: it is located in the rear left part of the trunk, above the wheel well, covered by a plastic compartment that is easily removed. The location where we place it is fixed, so we must necessarily get the same type to ensure that it fits perfectly in its place. Additionally, we must first disconnect the negative terminal, which is the black one, moving it as far away as possible from the connector to prevent accidental reconnection; then the positive terminal, which is the red one, and finally remove the battery from its housing in order to replace it with the new one, proceeding in reverse.
