How to replace the key battery of a Volkswagen Passat

Start by pressing and holding the side button of the electric key of your Volkswagen Passat, then extract the physical emergency key. Next, use the emergency key to lever and remove the rear side of the key. This will give you access to the flat battery inside. Now, extract the battery from your Volkswagen Passat key, and the disassembly is complete. To install the new battery, repeat this procedure in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
