How to Replace the Key Battery on a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

Start by pressing the button on the top side of your Volkswagen Passat key and pulling out the physical key. Next, unclip and remove the top part of the key. After this, repeat the last step for the back section. By doing this, you will have accessed the key battery. At this point, remove the battery, completing the disassembly. To install the new battery and reassemble the key, repeat these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
