To start we have to remove the four torx screws that hold the front grille in place, then we can help ourselves with plastic spatulas to remove it completely. To remove the clips where the writing that we want to replace fits, we must then heat it with a hair dryer, in order to remove them more easily. Then we have to leverage with a screwdriver, in a very delicate way, in order to remove it. We can help ourselves with a plastic lever. Then we degrease well. We may have to fit the new nameplate into the pre-existing holes. Surely the supplied screws will be too long so we will have to cut them. We then remove the Volkswagen logo and apply the glossy black one. The red GTI writing can be found on Amazon at the code B01BDN7GB8 and costs 42.95 euros + delivery 11.99 euros. The front black emblem however, always on Amazon you can find it at the code B00KYLFOYC and costs 43.11 euros + delivery 9.95 euros. We can now reconnect the grille clips and reassemble everything to the car with its torx screws. Naturally we also have the rear logo, which we remove with the plastic spatula. This, still on Amazon, costs 42.33 euros for free delivery and can be found under code B07SRJFL82. For installation, here it is even simpler, because after having degreased the base well, you just need to apply it with double-sided adhesive, unless you want to paint the base like our youtuber did.
