Today, follow these steps to replace the alternator on your Volkswagen Golf GTI with a TSI engine. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the engine cover. Next, loosen the tensioner to remove the serpentine belt. Now, unscrew the alternator bolts and disconnect its electrical connector to remove it and replace it with a new original part. Finally, install the new serpentine belt to reassemble everything!
