How to reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Golf?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Golf, press and hold the 0.0 button located in the centre of the dashboard while it is off. Continue holding the button and insert the ignition key into the switch, then turn it to switch on the dashboard. Once it is on, you will see a confirmation message. Release the 0.0 button and press it again once. This will completely reset the Service light.
