In order to replace the rear light of the Volkswagen Golf, you need to completely remove the two parts that make up the optical group, which are located on the side rear of the frame and on the outside of the tailgate. In both cases, to remove these two parts, you will need to detach the plastic cover inside, corresponding to the light: under this cover, you will find a knob, which will need to be unscrewed in order to remove the light from its housing.
