How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Volkswagen Passat

To replace the fuel pump on a Volkswagen Passat, open the rear hatch and lift the carpet at the base of the boot. Underneath, you will find a circular cover that needs to be lifted to access the protective cover underneath. Removing these covers will allow access to the pump, which must be freed from its securing screws and power cables. Once the old pump is completely removed, you can insert the new one, connecting and securing it properly.
