How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Volkswagen Passat?

To replace the fuel pump on a Volkswagen Passat, open the boot and remove the carpet that serves as flooring. Beneath it, there will be a cover protecting the pump, which must be removed to disconnect the hoses and connectors attached to the pump. Once everything is disconnected, unscrew the bolts securing the pump and pull it out from its housing: this will allow you to replace it with a new spare part, which must be secured with the appropriate screws and connected to the connectors and hoses.
