Resetting the service light on a Volkswagen Golf Plus is straightforward. Start by turning on the ignition: you will immediately see a message on the display indicating the upcoming service deadline. To reset the timings (and mileage), press the button at the end of the lever on the right side of the steering wheel to enter the menu. Use it to navigate and select, in order, the following options: settings, service, and finally, reset. Confirm using the same button and then exit the menu.
