How to Replace the Heat Exchanger on a Volkswagen Touran

To replace the heat exchanger on a Volkswagen Touran, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. You will need to remove the plastic cover from the top of the engine block, as well as the air filter housing. Once these components are removed, locate the heat exchanger positioned at the bottom right of the engine block. It can be pulled out by loosening its mounting bolts and disconnecting the pipes. Then, insert the new part, reassembling all previously removed components.
