The pollen filter on the Volkswagen Polo 4n is located under the glove compartment on the passenger side, in a drawer that you need to pull forcefully towards you while lying on the passenger footwell mat. Once you have pulled down the filter, clean the compartment from which you removed it with a blast of compressed air to remove dust and dirt. Discard the used filter and replace it with a new, clean one, ensuring the correct fitting direction: the arrows must point downwards (in this case, towards the left side of the cabin). Close the drawer, and the job is complete.
