Operation: How do you open the rear hatch of the Volkswagen Touran?

In order to open the rear hatch of the Volkswagen Touran, you need to insert the car's ignition key into your pocket or keep it in some way close to the car: by doing so, you can give a small kick to the lower part of the rear bumper of the car. Thanks to a sensor located at this point, the lock of the rear hatch will unlock and the hatch itself will lift up completely, providing access to the trunk space. To close it again, simply press the button located at the base of the hatch.
