How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Passat B8?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Passat B8, press and hold the button marked "0.0" located in the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding it down, turn the key to switch on the instrument cluster. A message will appear on the menu asking if you want to confirm the Service reset. To confirm, press the button in the centre of the instrument cluster again. Once the reset is complete, you can check that the process was successful and turn off the ignition.
