How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023

To reset the service light on a Volkswagen Passat, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, marked 0.0/SET. Keep the button pressed while the instrument cluster is off, and simultaneously insert the key into the ignition. This will turn on the instrument cluster, allowing you to release the button after a few seconds. Once released, you will notice that the service light has been completely reset, and you can turn off the instrument cluster again.
