How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010
Part: Service warning light

Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Volkswagen Passat. Begin by activating the instrument cluster by turning the ignition key in the ignition switch, then turn it off after the beep. Next, press and hold the right button on the instrument cluster while reactivating the instrument cluster. At this point, select "Service INSP", then rotate the left selection button on the instrument cluster. Once you have completed this step, turn off the instrument cluster, and you will have reset the "Service" light.
