Reset the service light on a Volkswagen Passat B7

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Volkswagen Passat B7: turn on the instrument panel and on the right side of the steering wheel, locate the "ok" button. Press it and check for any informational messages on the display; if there are any, close them. Now scroll down to navigate the menu until you find the "service" or "maintenance" option, which you will select by pressing "ok". A submenu will open. Select the "reset" option. The system will ask for confirmation, such as "Do you really want to reset the service?" Select "ok" to confirm. Now the service light should be off and the maintenance mileage counter will have been reset.
