Want to reset the light on a Volkswagen Passat? Here’s how to reset the service light on the Passat. Enter the vehicle, turn on the ignition with the appropriate key, and press the button located near the speedometer for a few seconds, then turn off the ignition.

Turn the ignition back on and confirm the reset with the left button (the reset confirmation message will appear). Check the display for the new service interval for the oil change.

Always remember to make changes to the onboard computer with the engine off; otherwise, the reset will not work.
