How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Passat, press and hold the SET button located to the right of the instrument cluster while the cluster is off. With the button pressed, turn the ignition key to switch on the instrument cluster; a message will appear on the display asking if you want to reset the Service light. Confirm the message by pressing the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel. This will successfully reset the Service light, and you can complete the operation by turning off the ignition.
