Removing the interior rear-view mirror from a Volkswagen Golf, mk5 model, is a straightforward task that allows you to carry out any replacement or maintenance work. To remove the mirror, simply rotate the arm first to the right and then to the left.

After these two initial movements, rotate the mirror fully to the left and pull it outwards. This will remove the mirror.

To reinstall it, perform the same movements in reverse.
