Resetting the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

When it is time for a service on the Volkswagen Passat, the control system displays a message on the dashboard to alert you. Once all the required operations have been completed, you must reset the control system. Sit in the driver's seat, and with the ignition off, press and hold the button located at the bottom right of the speedometer, marked with a spanner icon. Turn the key to position one, wait a few seconds, and release the button. Next, press the button below the rev counter marked "min", turn off the ignition, and the reset is complete.
