How to reset the AdBlue light on a Volkswagen Sharan?

When the AdBlue light appears on the dashboard of a Volkswagen Sharan, it means that the additional fluid in the tank is almost completely depleted; therefore, to turn off the light, you need to top it up. This can be done by opening the rear hatch and accessing the tank at the bottom of the vehicle: it is accessible by opening the cap located on the left side of the boot. Once the top-up is complete, close the cap again and check that the reset of the light has occurred correctly.
