Removing the Rear Light and Replacing Bulbs on a Volkswagen Caddy

If you notice that one of the bulbs in the rear light of your Volkswagen Caddy has blown, it is advisable to replace it as soon as possible. To do this, open the tailgate and position yourself in front of the light containing the bulb to be replaced. Using a flathead screwdriver, pry off the plastic cover between the light and the rubber seal. You will uncover two screws that need to be removed. Pull the light unit towards you to detach it and disconnect the electrical connector. Unscrew the four screws that secure the plate where the bulbs are housed, allowing you to replace the blown bulb. Refit the light and reposition it in its housing by reversing the previous steps.
