In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in the Volkswagen Atlas, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, so that you can work in complete safety, then open the hood, loosen the nut of the negative terminal with a 10mm socket wrench and disconnect it. Then open the cover of the positive terminal, repeat the operation with a 13mm key and unscrew the lower mounting bracket bolt. At this point, we can remove the battery from the housing, insert the replacement and follow the reverse procedure.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
