How to Remove the Soundproofing Panel of a VW Golf 6

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Let's see in this video how to remove the soundproofing panel of the bonnet on a Golf 6. Pull the lever to open the rear door located at the bottom left of the dashboard. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then start detaching the plastic clips that hold the soundproofing panel. Be careful when pulling them off; you might break them if too much force is applied. Once you have removed the worn panel, fit the new piece. Secure the panel on one side with the clips and then work on the other side. After placing all the clips, close the bonnet.
